Takeda UK is seeking an Ig Community Support Advocate I to provide education and peer support for patients with primary immunodeficiency (PI). The role focuses on patient engagement through calls, community outreach, and attendance at relevant events, requiring a strong background in customer service and knowledge of PI

Job Summary

  • Provide unbranded disease state information, education, and resources about PI, unbranded IG treatment, plasma, self-advocacy, MyIgSource, and Takeda programs.
  • Enroll patients/caregivers in MyIgSource and obtains opt-in, providing a positive experience for all callers documenting all interactions appropriately.
  • Travel to/attend approved local, regional, and national patient events, trade shows, attend relevant HCP events, share experience/speak at events to educate on PI, the need for peer-to-peer support, and the educational resources offered by Takeda.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years customer service/sales experience
  • Significant education or experience with PI strongly preferred
  • Patient Advocacy, health care, or regulated industry experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industries
