The role involves analyzing hospital claims data, cost reports, and financial statements to shape reimbursement reform and ensure MaineCare’s hospital payment models are sustainable, equitable, and aligned with quality care outcomes.

Key Requirements
Eight (8) year combination of education/experience
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Care Administration or related
Two (2) years of cost, budget, and financial analysis experience
Experience with hospital cost reports, financial statements, and claims data
Experience using analytics tools with SQL query writing ability
Ability to research law, regulations, and Medicaid policies
Ability to synthesize and present complicated analysis
