Job Summary

  • Under limited supervision, serves as the chemical and cement laboratories supervisor directing the daily operation of the chemical and cement laboratories, providing high level technical decision-making on tests and/or on producer/manufacturer products.
  • Manage chemical and cement laboratory technicians including day-to-day activities including but not limited to time/leave approval, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor the processing and testing of all samples for the chemical and cement laboratories to ensure adherence to GDOT, AASHTO and/or ASTM test methods, practices, and specifications.
