Job Summary

• You will be responsible for a portfolio of claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution.
• Your goal will be timely, accurate and customer-focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense – you will actively promote and demonstrate the principles of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ in claims handling.
• The base salary range for this position is $82,000-$91,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Key Requirements

• Third-party claims, litigation or related experience
• Knowledge of professional liability/construction claims requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Multi-state adjuster licenses and/or JD preferred
• Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and ADR
• Policy language interpretation skills
• Track record of following audit recommendations
