Job Summary

The Principal Data Steward role involves ensuring data integrity and usability across lab and manufacturing systems to support R&D decision making, manufacturing scale-up, and tech transfer within Therapeutic Development and Supply.
This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement data standards, automate quality checks, and drive continuous improvement while supporting the adoption of AI-assisted data curation tools.

Must-have
Data stewardship processes for CMC data
Data aggregation and curation activities
Collaboration with ontology and data engineering teams
Implementation of data quality checks
Use of laboratory and manufacturing systems like ELN, LIMS, SAP, MES
Scripting proficiency in Python and SQL
Translation of scientific business requirements into data requirements
Nice-to-have
Experience in pharmaceutical research and development
Agile and product management experience
Proficiency in SPARQL
Experience managing remote resources
Use of AI-assisted data curation tools
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Data Science or related field
3+ years experience in data stewardship or laboratory informatics
3+ years experience with CMC laboratory and manufacturing data systems
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and SQL
