Job Description This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in the School of InfoComm Technology. The school is looking for full-time lecturer to teach modules in the domain area of: Software engineering DevSecOps Cloud services Cloud deployment (Kubernetes, Terraform, etc) Cloud architecture The candidate will be assigned to teach Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) classes in the area that he / she is a subject matter expert in. Training will be provided for domain areas that candidates are unfamiliar with. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop teaching and assessment materials, conduct lessons and facilitate learning for both the PET and CET learners Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and making recommendations on areas of improvement that would enhance students’ learning, performance, and employability. Keep abreast of current trends and developments in technologies and emerging trends Handle administrative work relating to teaching. Supervise and mentor students in competitions and consultancy projects Support student learning through consultation and mentorship Identify and establish new collaboration opportunities with industry partners for curriculum collaboration, CET programme initiatives, and consultancy projects Work on industry or consultancy projects Organise and lead overseas study trips, immersion programs, and student exchange initiatives Requirements Committed to stay updated with industry advancements and integrating new technologies into teaching.
