Job Summary
The Section Head provides strategic physician leadership and operational oversight for two distinct emergency care environments including a high volume hospital based ED and a Freestanding Emergency Department.
This role is responsible for driving quality, safety, throughput, provider engagement, and patient experience across both sites while maintaining a dual reporting relationship to Emergency Services Service Line Leadership and the Vice President of Medical Affairs.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine with an active license and maintain an active clinical practice while overseeing a multidisciplinary team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
