The Prevention Coordinator contributes to the Office of Counseling Services team by providing educational and preventative care to the High Point University community.
In conjunction with clinical staff, the prevention coordinator focuses on critical issues in college mental health, including suicide prevention, stress management, and addiction awareness.
A key part of this role will be to collaborate with cross campus partners to meet student needs effectively, viewing mental health as a life skill integrated within holistic student development.
