Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for supporting a variety of Metallurgical services including metallographic and physical testing, product / process control testing and development, failure analysis, and problem solving.
  • The incumbent also provides leadership and support for assigned programs and projects to ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal engineering standards, and AS9100 quality system requirements in a custom precision manufacturing facility.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science or similar Engineering discipline
  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience
  • Background in metal removal
  • alloy steel thermal processing experience
  • AMS2750 and Nadcap experience
  • solid understanding of business, cost elements, and manufacturing processes
  • advanced level of mechanical comprehension
  • solid analytical problem-solving skills
  • ability to schedule and prioritize work
