Key Requirements

  • Completion of 3 year community college diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
  • Minimum 18 months general construction experience
  • Certified Building Code Official (CBCO) certification required
  • Membership in Ontario Building Officials Association (OBOA)
  • Completion of Ontario Building Code exams through MMAH
  • Valid Ontario G class driver’s license with no more than 6 demerit points
  • Criminal Records and Judicial Matters Check (Level 2)
