Key Requirements

  • Illinois 40-hour armed course with pistol endorsement
  • Valid FOID Card or Concealed Carry Weapon license
  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within two years
  • Firearm Control Card (FCC) within 90 days of hire
  • Taser certification within 90 days of hire
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of security or public safety experience
  • Pass background investigation and drug screen
