Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for managing the overall performance of inbound and outbound freight by maximizing the use of all fleet and carrier vehicles in order to provide an on-time, cost-effective service to the customer.
  • The incumbent coordinates freight flow activities and works closely with the site General Manager, stores, and the national inbound team to meet daily priorities and transportation targets.
  • The role includes conducting daily start-up meetings, organizing workloads, ensuring safety compliance, and investigating incidents to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
