Job Summary
Provides patient education and support for breastfeeding mothers on the postpartum unit and those with infants in the NICU.
Works collaboratively with the nursing staff, MO's, Case Manager, Childbirth Educator, Clinical Managers, and other ancillary staff to assure continuity of information provided to patients.

Key Requirements
Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license
Current Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Certification
Associate’s Degree in Nursing
At least two years clinical nurse experience
At least two years lactation consulting experience
