The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities, maintaining attendance records, and assisting with transportation arrangements for residents.
The position requires good communication between employees, residents, families, and community personnel to ensure the best interests of residents and the facility are met.
