Job Summary

  • This position is for a Dental Hygienist, in the provision of dental hygiene care with focus on oral health maintenance of patients within two long term care (LTC) facilities.
  • Work Performed includes reviewing patients’ charts, examining intra-oral structures, scaling and root planning, polishing, fluoride treatment, and administering local anesthetic as required.
  • The hygienist will be supporting the Geriatric Dentistry Program (GDP) to provide hygiene treatment as prescribed by GDP dentists, with students and visiting dentists potentially in attendance for observation.
