Job Summary

  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare meals according to menus and dietary requirements.
  • This position requires standing and walking frequently and lifting up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
