Job Summary
The candidate must be confident in the surgery room, helping from start to finish, including surgical prep, monitoring, scrubbing in if needed, and surgical recovery for procedures like spays, neuters, lumpectomy, some orthopedics, and dental.
The ideal candidate will also be fluent in rooming patients, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running bloodwork, have experience with in-clinic laboratory, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understand client education, and possess proper animal handling and restraint skills.
