  • This temporary full-time position, funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, will end in December 2027 and involves managing day-to-day operations to digitize over 100,000 pages of historic newspapers.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in History, English, or related field
  • Two years of archival or library experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience

  • Understanding of metadata creation and MARC cataloging
  • Knowledge of OCR output optimization
  • Experience with grant management and writing
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Occasional travel for training
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Valid Arkansas driver’s license
  • Pre-employment criminal background check required
  • Position is subject to drug screening
