Job Summary

  • Participates as interdisciplinary patient care team member to provide lactation services and education to meet needs of identified patient population within the scope of the medical center’s mission and values.
  • Demonstrates expertise in care of mothers/infants with complex breastfeeding problems.
  • Designs, implements, and monitors policies and procedures to assess quality control in the collection, transport, storage, and feeding of breast milk to hospitalized infants.
