Job Summary
The role supports the EpiC project's Global Health Security workplan to strengthen national capacities for preventing and responding to public health emergencies.
The officer will provide technical leadership for Community Event-based Surveillance and coordinate multi-sectoral outbreak investigations across multiple regions in the Philippines.
Candidates must have a solid background in emergency preparedness and demonstrated experience implementing surveillance systems and training local health responders.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's degree in public health or epidemiology
3 years experience in disease surveillance programs
Experience with Community Event-based Surveillance (CESR)
Knowledge of International Health Regulations (IHR)
Ability to travel domestically at least 25%
Nice-to-have
Master's degree in public health preferred
Experience working with Department of Health Philippines
Training in Field Epidemiology Training Program
Familiarity with One Health coordination approaches
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
Minimum 3 years combined national/international experience
Proven experience leading CESR program implementation
Practical expertise in IHR application and outbreak control
