Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Operating Room experience supporting minimum 2 services
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Registered with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • Current BLS certification within last 12 months
  • Perioperative Course or equivalent required

Nice-to-have

  • Pediatric nursing experience preferred
  • Surgical Liaison Nursing experience an asset
  • Patient/family teaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Family Centred Care preferred
  • Competency in other languages considered an asset

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • Minimum 6 months recent Operating Room experience
  • Current BLS certification from Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • Perioperative Course completion
