The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family while directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
The unit specializes in burn care while also housing post-surgical patients from various specialties including Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology.
Nurses can undergo additional advanced training to work one-on-one with patients to complete dressing changes and deliver specialized burn treatments.
