Day to day activities include developing and documenting system specifications, implementing hardware and OS, maintaining high operational uptime stringent SLAs, coordinating with applications and database teams and other operational and project-based tasks.

VMware vSphere platform management
System backups and recovery
Proactive security patch management
Infrastructure monitoring and optimization
PowerShell scripting
24x7 shifts and on-call schedule
Nice-to-have
Cloud and on-premises platform experience
Major cloud platform understanding (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Networking topology and protocols understanding
Global and multicultural environment experience
Key Requirements
8-10 years of experience as Windows & VMware Administrator
Good knowledge managing virtualized (VMware) operating systems
Experience deploying and maintaining Cloud & on-premises platforms
Experience with managing proactive monitoring and alerting
