Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and control systems testing
  • Commissioning processes according to ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED
  • Field-based activities including site visits and witnessing start-up tests
  • Reviewing design drawings and specifications for compliance
  • Managing commissioning projects through all phases

Key Requirements

  • University technical degree (Engineering degree preferred)
  • LEED AP certification
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering/field-testing experience
  • Minimum 5 years in building commissioning
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the USA
