Job Summary

  • The Senior Control Engineer (Transmission or Distribution) role is a shift-based opportunity, located in the SPEN Headquarters in Glasgow –reporting to the Control Room Manager.
  • In this role you will be responsible for the control and operation of either the Transmission or Distribution electrical networks under normal, outage and fault situations.

Key Requirements

  • HNC with relevant experience or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous Control Room knowledge/experience (advantageous)
  • Detailed Distribution and/or Transmission network knowledge
  • Operational experience at 33 kV and above (advantageous)
  • PowerOn/SCADA experience (advantageous)
