The Category Management Analyst will support the creation, execution, ongoing management, and renewal, extension or termination of Group, National GPO and non-GPO agreements across a wide variety of products and services required in an acute and/or non-acute healthcare setting

Job Summary

  • The Category Management Analyst will support the creation, execution, ongoing management, and renewal, extension or termination of Group, National GPO and non-GPO agreements across a wide variety of products and services required in an acute and/or non-acute healthcare setting.
  • A key component of this position includes building and fostering relationships with internal spend management team members, internal stakeholders, and external supplier partners to support category contracting efforts to drive savings and standardization efficiencies within the system.
  • The analyst is responsible for the daily operations and process improvement efforts for category management while fostering an environment of risk mitigation and sustainability both financially and operationally.

Key Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 3+ years clinical product/service agreement utilization
  • 3+ years supply chain or procurement experience
  • 2+ years team project experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field (Preferred)
  • 5+ years contract writing and review experience (Preferred)
  • 5+ years contract negotiation experience (Preferred)
