Visalia Post Acute is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance residents' mobility and quality of life through direct care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, a valid PTA license in California, and preferably experience in a skilled nursing facility

Job Summary

  • Assists the Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and provides direct resident care in accordance with physician orders, treatment plans, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Completes timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with facility, regulatory, and payer requirements.
  • Educates residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, safety techniques, and fall prevention strategies.
