Job Summary

  • It’s the mission of the NC Department of Transportation to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • This position will serve as a Project Inspector on roadway and structure projects, performing inspections, testing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with contract standards.
  • The employee must be able to work in outdoor environments with exposure to hazards, perform moderate physical activity, and may be required to work nights, weekends, and emergency callbacks.

Key Requirements
