Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and wound care, while monitoring resident's physical and emotional status.
Participate in staff development, including in-service training and orientation programs, to ensure a well-educated nursing service department.
