Provides surgical care to patients within the operating room under the supervision of perioperative nurses and/or surgeons.
Utilizes AORN standards, recommended practices, and guidelines' as a reference to ensure quality, safety and appropriateness of patient care.
The physical demands include regularly lifting up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, with regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids.
