Job Summary

  • The Associate Director provides operational leadership and technical oversight of maintenance activities for the sterile product manufacturing site while ensuring equipment reliability and regulatory compliance.
  • This role actively participates in the project life cycle for Factory Acceptance Tests to ensure maintainability, reliability, and lifecycle considerations are incorporated into equipment design.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Seven years maintenance experience in pharmaceutical or biotech
  • Sterile manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Three years supervisory or team-lead role
  • Practical experience with CMMS systems
  • Knowledge of GMP and safety regulations
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with potent compound manufacturing
  • Familiarity with Integrated Facilities Management organizations
  • Experience participating in Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain technicians

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 7 years maintenance experience in pharma/biotech
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • US work authorization required (implied by location)
