Job Summary

  • The primary mission of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is to provide science-based environmental stewardship for the health and prosperity of all North Carolinians.
  • The primary purpose of this position is to plan, maintain, and coordinate Habitat and Enhancement Section shellfish and artificial reef functions as well as equipment on a coastwide basis.
  • This position is responsible for staff in multiple Division offices statewide and at remote field sites, along with staff onboard vessels during remote overnight operations.
