Scout Motors is seeking a Manager of Concept Architecture and Human Factors to lead the development of body-related concepts for their electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in vehicle design and ergonomics

Job Summary

  • Lead the early development of body-related concept architecture including occupant package, body structure layout, closures, interior spatial layout, and vehicle packaging envelopes.
  • Define seating position strategy, posture targets, reach envelopes, ingress/egress geometry, visibility requirements, and comfort criteria.
  • Manage and mentor concept architects and human factors specialists, fostering a culture centered on innovation, user centric thinking, and engineering excellence.
