Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Certified by Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Current and valid Arkansas driver’s license
  • Pass medical physical examination
  • Pass psychological examination
  • Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in an 8-to-12-hour shift
  • Ability to climb stairwells
