Job Summary
Primary responsibility for respiratory fit testing (approximately 85%) to assure compliance with 29CFR 1910.134 across the enterprise.
This position may also be assigned a variety of other safety related duties that will assist the Environmental Health and Safety Department (EH&S) in maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
The EHS Coordinator will also provide education and hands-on training to staff, examining and reinforcing the use of work practice controls as well as personal protective equipment to minimize the risk of injury.
