Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the facility to ensure assessments are completed per guidelines with a focus on the resident assessment process.
  • This role requires coordinating interdisciplinary participation to complete Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for each new admission according to strict regulatory time frames.
  • The employee must maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information while ensuring accurate electronic submission of MDS assessments.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Accredited School of Nursing graduation
  • State Board of Nursing good standing
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • PCC software knowledge preferred
  • Long term care experience preferred

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • PDPM tool utilization expertise
  • QASP performance analysis skills
  • New MDS Coordinator training ability

Key Requirements

  • Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

  • Maintain required continuing education/licensing
