Job Summary

  • This position involves working in a self-directed team environment to provide support to the product test (PT Lab) teams.
  • The primary responsibility of an individual working in this position is to conduct functional performance tests of molded plastic closure systems, and to then summarize and prepare written reports of the test results.

Key Requirements

  • Quality Technician or Inspector background
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Blueprint reading and layout
  • Operation of inspection and test equipment
  • Computer literate in a Windows environment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Problem solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to stand for periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and handle 50 lb. cases of product
  • Must be able to conduct repetitive manual operation of package closure systems
  • Mechanical skills to be able to set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment
  • High School education required
  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or equivalent desired
