  • The Sourcing and Procurement specialist is responsible for appraising and improving purchasing activities by analyzing spend and supplier base, driving days to pay, price negotiations, purchase order placement, and on-time delivery improvement.
  • The position requires understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures to enable sourcing and procurement execution, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance to all GE Power Conversion policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial sourcing, procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation
  • 1 year experience plus MBA / master’s degree in relevant field
  • Solid M/S office skills including excel formulas, v-look up and pivot table knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
  • Ability to assess supplier technical capability and capacity
