Job Summary

• The Medical Assistant (MA) Apprentice program at Reid Health is designed for high school students seeking hands-on experience in the healthcare field while working toward Medical Assistant certification.
• Under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals, apprentices will gain both administrative and clinical skills necessary for a career as a Medical Assistant.
• Apprentices will assist in taking patient medical histories, measuring vital signs, preparing examination rooms, supporting medical procedures, collecting specimens, and administering medications under supervision.
