Job Summary

  • The Director of Actuarial Valuation leads the Valuation Center of Excellence (VCOE), partnering with business, actuarial, and finance functions to ensure the integrity of our financial statements and to support our business strategy.
  • Responsibilities include leading the VCOE, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, directing end-to-end valuation processes, championing governance and compliance, and managing the VCOE budget.
  • The role also involves talent leadership and development, advancing actuarial governance and standards of practice, and supporting Securian’s business strategy through actionable financial intelligence and regulatory change leadership.
