Job Summary
The Head Coach is responsible for the overall leadership and success of Brown University’s Women’s Swimming and Diving varsity athletic program.
Essential position responsibilities include planning and leading practices and competitions, recruiting student-athletes who meet both Brown’s academic and athletic standards, managing scheduling and travel, monitoring academic progress, and ensuring effective use of the program’s budget and resources.
The position also plays a key role in alumni engagement, fundraising, and community outreach efforts that support the program and the University.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required
Five to seven years coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level required
Ability to recruit within NCAA and Ivy League rules
Demonstrated ability to develop nationally competitive athletes
Demonstrated academic success of previously coached student-athletes
Exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations
Commitment to the student-athlete and the ability to coach and motivate
