Overview The scaffolder will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling temporary elevated platforms. They will ensure safe access and provide support and load-bearing structures for other workers and materials at height. Key Responsibilities Erecting & Dismantling: Assembling, altering, and disassembling metal or bamboo scaffolding based on approved designs, ensuring stable bases, mudsills, and proper bracing. Safety & Compliance: Install vital fall protection systems, guardrails, and safety netting while strictly adhering to site health, safety, and environmental regulations. Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect all scaffold components for defects, damage, or wear and tear before assembly. Site Coordination: Collaborate closely with construction managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure the scaffold meets the specific requirements of the active project. Basic Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a scaffolder in the construction industry. Possess a valid certificate of scaffolding work. Must be able to speak basic English and know basic Math. Excellent physical fitness, stamina, and agility to do heavy lifting. Ability to read and interpret complex and structural diagrams, schematics, blueprints. Details Transportation and accommodation to be provided by Oakdene.
