Job Summary

• The College of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medical Center seeks applicants for Veterinary Customer Service Specialists with the Small Animal Reception team.
• Duties include responding to routine, complex and medical emergency situations in professional manner; answering and directing internal and external calls appropriately; creating accurate day-to-day admitting information through hospital computer system; resolving routine problems and complex situations using appropriate medical terminology, office practices and procedures, and established customer service principles; maintaining safe and accurate money handling practices and abiding by all university privacy standards.
• This opening is a full-time position (40 hours/week) on first shift including evenings and weekends, with evening and weekend hours eligible for shift differential.
