Job Summary
The primary responsibility of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
Essential duties include assisting the Director of Nursing Services in directing nursing activities, participating in policy development, ensuring reference materials are current, and maintaining the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
The role requires ensuring adequate staffing levels for licensed practical and/or registered nurses and certified nursing assistants, developing work assignments, and delegating administrative authority to Charge Nurses.
