As an integral part of the UAMS Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) Team, the APRN/PA works collaboratively with the attending physicians and surgical residents to ensure continuity of care in the Surgical ICU.
Daily rounds, a variety of procedures, monitoring patient progress, and providing patient and family education are part of the wide scope of practice.
