The International Committee of the Red Cross is seeking a Water and Habitat Project Officer based in Mexico City. Job Summary

  • Realizar la evaluación, implementación y supervisión de proyectos de infraestructura, con el objetivo de mejorar el acceso a servicios esenciales y condiciones de vida de las diferentes poblaciones objeto con las que trabaja la oficina México.
  • El responsable del programa Oficial de Proyectos de Agua y Hábitat (WatHab) estará encargado de desarrollar y posicionar el diálogo técnico y estratégico con autoridades clave, promoviendo la incidencia en procesos de planificación, gestión e infraestructura, asegurando la articulación transversal con los departamentos del CICR y una administración presupuestaria rigurosa basada en la transparencia y el cumplimiento de las reglas financieras.
  • Brindar asesoría técnica a autoridades u otros actores en temas relacionados con infraestructura, acceso a agua, saneamiento e higiene.

  • Proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS is a plus
  • Professional level English proficiency
  • Foreign candidates must have work permit in Mexico
