Job purpose The Software Developer, Logistics Information Systems will support the Director, Logistics Information Systems in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of the Company's in-house business systems, including the Transport Management System (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other operational applications. The incumbent will work closely with business users to translate operational requirements into practical system solutions, drive continuous improvement of business applications, support system implementation and user adoption, and provide training and technical guidance to ensure effective utilisation of the Company's digital platforms. The role also contributes to the Company's digital transformation initiatives by delivering reliable, scalable and user-centric software solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance. Duties and responsibilities Software Development & System Enhancement Assist in the development, enhancement and maintenance of the company's in-house business systems, including the Transport Management System (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other operational applications. Develop new system features and functionalities based on business and operational requirements. Analyse user feedback and operational challenges to recommend and implement system improvements. Perform coding, testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance. Maintain system documentation, technical specifications and version control. Business Process Improvement Provide technical support for internally developed business systems and applications. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation. Work closely with users to clarify system functionality and provide practical solutions to operational challenges. Ensure business applications remain stable, secure and aligned with operation
