Job Summary

  • This role puts you front and center, hands-on with all sorts of specialized equipment, from diagnostic tools that talk to traffic boxes to aerial lifts that get you up close with the signals themselves.
  • You'll be maintaining our city's entire traffic control system, making minor yet crucial repairs, and even helping with new installations.
  • The City of Aurora is pleased to offer up to $1,000 annual bonus for maintaining your CDL, a $250.00 Boot allowance annually, health insurance benefits, paid holidays, vacation, personal leave, and sick leave, and a rare employer-funded retirement plan.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • IMSA Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Certification
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Level I Certification (for Tech II)
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Level II Certification (for Tech III)
  • 2 years of traffic signal maintenance experience (for Tech II)
  • 4 years of traffic signal maintenance experience (for Tech III)
