The Applied Research Lab (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking undergraduate interns for research and development roles in their Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Division. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in engineering or materials science and will assist with various projects related to material synthesis and fabrication

Job Summary

  • The Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Division of Applied Research Lab (ARL) is looking for several highly motivated undergraduate students to assist with various activities in the Materials Science Division.
  • Typical duties include assisting with material synthesis, device fabrication, process simulation for fabrication, and development of advanced materials and material systems.
  • The successful candidates will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer.
