Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Proficiency in NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16 and COMSEC regulations
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, SCAP, and IAVAs
  • Experience managing cryptographic keys for HAIPE devices
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or VMware cloud environments

Nice-to-have

  • DevSecOps experience integrating security into SDLC
  • Prior military or government COMSEC Responsible Officer experience
  • Proficiency in GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong passion for research and tackling complex problems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Key Requirements

  • Active US Top Secret security clearance with SCI SI/TK eligibility
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 5–8 years of experience in COMSEC or Information Assurance
  • Current certification: CISM, CISSP, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, or FITSP-M
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or III certification
  • At least eight years of experience applying DoD RMF processes
